H.R. 2, INVEST in America Act

H.R. 2 passed the House on July 1, 2020 and is headed to the Senate.  This legislation proposes to invest more than $1.5 trillion in modern, sustainable infrastructure while creating millions of good-paying jobs, combatting the climate crisis, building new affordable housing, and addressing disparities in communities across North Carolina and throughout the country.  It will invest over $100 billion into our nation's affordable housing infrastructure to create or preserve 1.8 million affordable homes.
