The November 3, 2020 US Senate election resulted in 50 GOP and 48 Democrat members. Yesterday’s Georgia Senate runoff determines if the Senate results in a majority for the GOP or a tie between the GOP and Democrats. Democrat Raphael Warnock has been declared winner defeating Republican Kelly Loeffler. According to news reports, Democrat Jon Ossoff is leading Republican David Perdue in the remaining critical race which will determine control of the Senate.
