Meet Our 2023 Multifamily Career Awareness Committee Chair

Mike Susen, Greystar, serves as a Senior Director of Real Estate with Greystar in Charlotte, responsible for executing property management strategy in a portfolio consisting of 14,490 units across 54 communities. Before joining Greystar, Mike was the Vice President of Asset Management for Terwilliger Pappas, creating a platform to oversee the operating and financial performance of approximately 3,000 units in the firm’s “Solis” communities across the Southeast. Prior to joining Terwilliger Pappas, Mike worked for Crescent Communities in asset management, overseeing a Sunbelt portfolio spanning from the Carolinas to Phoenix. Before Crescent he began his career in multifamily with Boston Capital, holding roles in acquisitions and asset management. Mike’s experience includes development, lease up, acquisition, disposition and involvement in a variety of assets including mixed use, mid-rise, high-rise and garden. Mike has twelve years of industry experience and earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his Master of Science in Real Estate from University of North Carolina – Charlotte’s Childress Klein School of Real Estate.​
