Governor McMaster lifted the statewide "Work at Home" order on Monday, May 4th. This returned to a voluntary status. Additionally, the governor announced that restaurants are allowed to provide outdoor customer dining. With advice and recommendations from DHEC & the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association, the governor established guidelines to follow.

The governor also lifted the ban on short-term rentals throughout South Carolina. Individuals entering the state from "hotspots" are no longer required to self-quarantine for two weeks.
