Gov. Cooper Signs SB 36: 2020 COVID Relief Modifications Bill

Industry News,

On last Wednesday, Gov. Roy Cooper signed a pandemic relief bill into law with $1.6 billion in it to help schools reopen and otherwise deal with coronavirus. Senate Bill 36 also includes a raft of tweaks to various federal pandemic relief programs and hundreds of millions of dollars for things like vaccination programs, rental assistance and broadband expansions. Also, there is a deadline extension on the $335-per-family "extra credit" grants . So, parents who missed $335 grants last year will get another chance.
