GCAAEF Scholarships Open for Business

Apartment Professional Training (APT) & DEI Scholarships Available!

Since its inception in 2008, one of the GCAA Education Foundation's (GCAAEF) core objectives has been "to create a student scholarship fund that will provide financial assistance to rental housing employees in order for them to pursue national certification programs."

In September 2012, the GCAAEF created the Apartment Professional Training (APT) Scholarship Program. These scholarships provide full funding for GCAA-member rental housing industry professionals to pursue the NAAEI designation or certification of their choice. In 2022, GCAAEF created a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Scholarship to ensure that scholarship opportunities reached diverse populations. 

In recognition of its 15th anniversary, this year the GCAA Education Foundation will be awarding 15 APT scholarships to be used by members in 2024. Applications for this year's scholarships will be accepted from September 1 - 30, 2023. If you're uncertain about whether your company is a member of the GCAA, you can check this list. If your company is a member, but you've never created a profile for yourself in the GCAA member portal, you can do so with this link. 

Winners will be notified by November 30, 2023 and will be recognized during the GCAA's BRAVO Awards on December 8, 2023.
