Established in 2019, the GCAA’s Political Action Committee (PAC), the Rental Housing Alliance (RHA) PAC, was created to support candidates who champion policies that benefit the rental housing industry in the Greater Charlotte area. While most PACs represent business, labor, or ideological interests, the RHA PAC exclusively represents the interests of the apartment industry, ensuring that rental housing remains accessible, high-quality, and economically viable.

โœ… Mission: Advocate for policies and leaders that support a thriving rental housing community in the Greater Charlotte area.

โœ… Vision: Attainable, quality rental housing as an integral part of a thriving Greater Charlotte.

What We Do:

The RHA PAC actively identifies, evaluates, and supports candidates for elected office who are committed to pro-rental housing policies. By engaging in advocacy, the PAC helps to:

๐Ÿ”น Promote policies that enable rental housing providers to offer high-quality, affordable housing.

๐Ÿ”น Defend the industry against harmful legislation that could negatively impact property owners, managers, and residents.

๐Ÿ”น Ensure a strong voice for the rental housing community in local government decision-making.

Through strategic political engagement, the RHA PAC protects the future of rental housing in the Greater Charlotte area.
