GCAA and the Rental Housing Alliance (PAC) Support Charlotte’s Bonds - Vote YES for Housing, Transpo
The Greater Charlotte Apartment Association and the Rental Housing Alliance (PAC) support the three Charlotte bond referendums on the November ballot and urge Charlotte voters to vote YES on all three bonds.
Together, these bonds would invest $425 million in our city’s future: $280 million for transportation, $125 million for affordable housing and $20 million for neighborhood improvements, with no property-tax increase. These investments will help create and preserve affordable homes, improve transportation safety and strengthen neighborhood infrastructure.
As advocates for housing affordability, we recognize that expanding housing opportunities and investing in the infrastructure that supports our residents go hand in hand. Supporting these bonds is an investment in Charlotte’s continued growth and quality of life.
