AANC Lobby Day Shifts to June 15, 2022

AANC’s Education & Legislative Conference will take place on May 16-18, 2022 in Raleigh, NC but the Lobby Day event has shifted to Wednesday, June 15, 2022 due to a conflict with the primary elections this year.

North Carolinas Primary elections will be held on May 17, 2022. As a result, the General Assembly will not allow visitors on May 18th which conflicts with our legislative visits. Therefor in lieu of legislative visits on Wednesday morning there will be a legislative session where we will hear from Maria Spencer, NAA’s Director of Federal Legislative Affairs. AANC will reschedule legislative visits for Wednesday, June 15 2022 during the legislative short session. All of the legislative sessions will be in preparation for the June 15th visits. Please be sure to vote early prior to the conference to ensure your vote counts!
