NCGA Introduces Bill for Small Business Emergency Loans

During its first day of the 2020 Legislative Session, HB1034 - AN ACT TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY LOANS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES AFFECTED BY THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC was introduced.  The loan would be managed by Golden L.E.A.F. (Long-Term Economic Advancement Foundation), Inc. and would be limited to no more than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) per qualifying business.  The bill has been referred to the Committee on Finance.
