Advocate Prep Meeting

As GCAA prepares for the NAA Advocate Conference and Lobby Day on Capitol Hill, we invite registered participants to attend a pre-Advocate preparation webinar designed to ensure a successful and impactful advocacy experience. Lobby Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, and this session will help ensure all participants are prepared and aligned ahead of those meetings.

This webinar will walk participants through GCAA’s Advocate plan and provide practical guidance for engaging with Members of Congress and their staff. Topics will include:

· An overview of GCAA’s advocacy team structure
· Expectations for Congressional meetings during Lobby Day
· Selecting a Team Captain to lead the discussion
· Selecting a Secretary to capture meeting notes and follow-up items
· Mock Congressional meetings to practice messaging and build confidence

Whether this is your first Advocate Conference or you are a returning participant, this session will help ensure everyone is prepared to effectively represent GCAA and the rental housing industry during Lobby Day on March 25.
