Event Details
In many states, domestic violence victims have specific protection from being evicted as a result of a domestic violence incident.
Still, even more importantly, HUD has recognized that domestic violence victims can be protected under the Fair Housing Act, as well. Let our attorney bring you up to speed on the laws in your state that relate to tenants who are domestic violence victims, Fair Housing Act implications for common Domestic Violence situations, and how the provisions of your lease may also impact your ability to file and/or evict a tenant in a domestic violence situation.
YOU'LL LEAVE THIS SESSION WITH:
· How-to's when a domestic violence situation occurs at your property
· How to legally and ethically handle this type of situation
· Presented by Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC
· Thursday, October 16, 9:30-11:30
· GCAA - 3800 Arco Corporate Dr. Suite 175
· 2 CECs will be provided for attending this event
