Shammond Holden is a dynamic, people-first professional with a well-rounded background in property management, marketing, customer service, and higher education.
Before stepping into his role with the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA), Shammond served as the Leasing and Marketing Manager at Lincoln at Dilworth, where he led operations for a community of nearly 400 apartment homes. There, he elevated brand visibility, improved resident retention, and helped drive a 6% increase in occupancy through his approachability, strategic marketing, and hands-on leadership.
His approach blends creativity with thoughtful execution. From developing targeted marketing strategies to coaching on-site staff, he consistently championed initiatives that build connection, trust, and value—earning him a nomination for the 2024 GCAA Leasing Professional of the Year.
