Jared Schmidt

I’m the Supervising Partner at Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC, with over a decade of experience supporting property managers across North Carolina. My background spans contracts, litigation, and property management. My focus is on helping housing providers navigate legal challenges and industry regulations.

I’m a proud graduate of Miami University in Ohio and the University of Toledo College of Law. I am an active member of the Triangle Apartment Association (TAA), the Apartment Association of North Carolina (AANC), the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA), and the Triad Apartment Association. I also serve on the Rental Housing Alliance (RHA) Board of Directors.

Beyond practicing law, I am passionate about education and regularly instruct courses covering Fair Debt Collection, Fair Housing, Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), and Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) courses.

I enjoy connecting my legal knowledge with real-world operations to support the success of rental housing providers in the Southeast.
