GCAA's Board of Directors

GCAA's 2018 Board of Directors includes the following apartment industry leaders:

Jennings is the Chief Financial Officer for SYNCO Properties. In his role as CFO he serves as the company’s Director of Reporting & Analysis and Senior Investment Officer.  Prior to joining SYNCO in 2006, Jennings spent nearly two years as a financial analyst with Bank of America in their real estate finance group. Jennings holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. In addition to his work as an officer of SYNCO, Jennings serves on the board of directors for the Council For Children’s Rights, a non-profit organization focused on ensuring that every child in Charlotte/Mecklenburg is safe, healthy and educated.

VICE PRESIDENT -  HOLLY CASPER, CAM, CAPS  • RKW RESIDENTIALHolly started her career in the  multi-family industry in 2000 and is currently the Sr. Vice President for RKW Residential, a Real Estate Management firm. She oversees operations for both established and new construction communities. In 2017, she shared in the Chair position of the Operations Committee. She has also has served as Chair of the Programs Committee from 2012-2015 and as a Co-Chair in 2016. She has served as a GCAA Board Member for 4 years. Holly holds a BS in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Maryland as well as the Certified Apartment Manager and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor credentials through the NAAEI. On a personal note, Holly has lived in Charlotte for 16 years; she met her husband Brian here. In her free time she spends time exploring all that Charlotte has to offer and cheering on the Panthers!  

Darline Cobb joined Ginkgo Residential in 1998 as an Accounting Assistant. Having transitioned to the roles of Settlement Coordinator and Project Manager, she was promoted to Director of Training and Development in 2015. She has won various service awards from Ginkgo Residential including the Brass Award in 1999, the BEST Award in 2007, and the GEM Award in 2007.  She also oversees the Gingko T.R.A.I.N program to ensure all their associates at Ginkgo are equipped with resources and tools to be successful in his or her role.  Darline received her Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1994 from Gaston College and holds a NC Notary Public license. She has been an active member of the GCAA since 2009, has served on the Membership and Outreach Committees where she has served as Chair of Outreach in 2013 and 2014 and was named Support Team Member of the Year in 2009 and Volunteer of the Year in 2013.  She helped facilitate the first Outreach Committee’s Habitat for Humanity Build Day which continues to be an ongoing volunteer project for the GCAA.  She remains enthusiastically engaged in various social and volunteer organizations and is looking forward to continuing her term on the GCAA Board of Directors and volunteering through the Association. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and giving back to the community.
Margenia Love is Vice President- Director of Property Management for Marsh Properties LLC. She is responsible for the overall successful operation of the Marsh Portfolio consisting of approximately 2,000 residential units in Charlotte. Margenia is a 30-year veteran of the multifamily housing industry and holds both the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor and Certified Apartment Supplier Designations through NAA. Her previous GCAA activities include a term on the Board of Directors, service as President of the Products and Services Council, participation on various committees, and successful completion of the Association’s inaugural Leadership Lyceum program. Margenia is also a member of the Charlotte Chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women).
Amanda Kitts Cutliff has worked in the multifamily real estate business since 1998 and celebrated ten years with Greystar in May of 2016. Amanda holds the CAPS, CPM, Certified Occupancy Specialist, Housing Credited Professional, and Public Housing Manager Designations. She is also a licensed Real Estate Broker for North Carolina. Her expertise includes acquisitions, dispositions,  lease ups, rehabs, and several affordable housing programs. Amanda is currently the Director of Real Estate for Charlotte and oversees roughly 50% of the Charlotte portfolio.  Her GCAA involvement and accolades include: Leadership Lyceum Graduate (Class of 2011), Membership Committee chair (2013), and Volunteer of the Year (2014), Board Treasurer (2015), Vice President (2016), President (2017) and Government Affairs Chair (2016). Amanda received Riverstone Residential Group’s Exemplary Citizen Award and Reach Award in 2012, and their Regional Manager of the Year Award in 2014. In her “spare time” Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband Wayne, their six children and two grandchildren.
