Birds and Beers Volunteer Social

GCAA's Green Committee is hosting the first ever Birds and Beers Volunteer Social

Volunteer at the Carolina Raptor Center (CRC) from 2 - 5pm and join us for a drink* (beer or wine) afterward at Lancasters BBQ (9230 Beatties Ford Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078) located less than 3 miles from the CRC!

Note: The CRC operates on a laundry list of projects so we won't know what we will be doing until the date gets closer, but here are the possibilities:

The Volunteer day will be held outdoors, somewhere on the 57 acre wooded property. Typically groups help with projects like landscaping our native plant beds (weeding, planting, mulching), maintaining Raptor Trail (trimming, raking, fixing erosion problems), or fixing raptor enclosures (predator proofing, replacing perches, painting). 

*Registration cost includes one drink ticket!
