VP of Marketing
The Franklin Johnston Group

Chris joined The Franklin Johnston Group in 2015 as the company’s Vice President of Marketing. At The Franklin Johnston Group, Chris is responsible for the strategic marketing and leasing of the group’s entire portfolio of 13,000+ Luxury, senior and affordable apartment homes from Northern Virginia to Florida. Chris is also the founder of Green Stick Marketing, a full-service digital marketing agency that he launched in 2017.

Before joining The Franklin Johnston Group, Chris was the National Marketing Manager for Fore Property Company, where he was responsible for the strategic marketing for new lease-up apartment developments in Denver, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Orlando, and Portland.

Chris’ marketing experience began as a leasing consultant in Chicago for Village Green, a development and property management company based out of Farmington Hills, Michigan. He last served as a Regional Marketing Director there, overseeing sales, marketing and assisting with new business development and acquisition initiatives. 


RJ Finlay & Resident World

Rob Finlay is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of R.J. Finlay & Co., a full service real estate, construction, and building materials firm whose diverse portfolio spans 12 companies across the U.S. specializing in asset management, building materials, construction, development, and project management.

Rob grew up in commercial real estate, and over a more than 25 year career has launched numerous startups within the space. Following his years on Wall Street with CS First Boston and Lehman Brothers, he began an innovative and successful entrepreneurial career within the CRE sector by founding Commercial Defeasance. DefeasewitheaseTM disrupted the industry and is responsible for thousands of defeasance transactions across North America. Seven years later he parlayed this success into another CRE disruptor, launching TCAM – an independent investment management company focused within the affordable housing market. In 2015, he launched Investor Management Services (IMS), the fastest growing SaaS platform within the CRE space.

Rob’s entrepreneurial inspiration comes from an intimate knowledge of CRE – he owns a number of multifamily, office, and assisted living properties. Rob is responsible for leadership of the Finlay Family Foundation dedicated to assisting children and families in need and promoting educational initiatives. He is also an active investor within joint ventures and limited partnerships in the commercial real estate space.



Streamline Multifamily Group


Leslie is the owner of Streamline Multifamily Group, a consulting firm that specializes in providing clients with strategic business practices with regards to new construction management, renovation, and operational needs within the apartment industry. Leslie is also the Asset Manager for Woodfield Investments overseeing a portfolio of 5000 units throughout the southeast and mid-Atlantic. She has 17 years of multifamily experience and served in a multi-site role for the more than 12 years. Prior to launching Streamline Multifamily Group, Leslie was a Regional Property Manager with Greystar, overseeing a portfolio from Wilmington, NC to the Triad. Leslie joined Greystar after 5 years with Mid-America Apartments (MAA), where she was responsible for the daily operations of a portfolio, often times exceeding 2300 units, within both the North Carolina and South Carolina markets. Her experience includes lease-ups, acquisitions, dispositions, re-development, large capital improvement projects, and distressed properties. Leslie has served on the Board of Directors along with several committees within the Triangle Apartment Association. Currently she is a board member for New Lease on Life.

Parking: Guests can either Valet park at our property ($18 per car for day-parking), or self-park in the connected Wells Fargo garage ($7 for the first hour, $3 for each additional hour). There are multiple metered spots, as well as off-site parking lots available – all at varying rates. The light rail also has a stop directly outside of the property.

Cancellation Deadline is 5 pm on 7/16/18. Register early - space is limited. Registration or cancellation requests can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled event to be considered for acceptance or refund. No-shows will be invoiced.
