GCAA SPONSORSHIP / ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

Any GCAA member is welcome to participate in the Association's various sponsorship programs or to advertise in its publications. Click on any of the following sponsorship/advertising opportunities for more information:

1. The GCAA General Sponsorship Program

The Greater Charlotte Apartment Association is the largest and most successful multi-family housing organization in the Carolinas and one of the most respected in the country. In its twenty-five years in existence, the GCAA has done much for our local industry, which now boasts a collective property value in excess of $4 billion. The GCAA currently represents 200 apartment owner/managers, 442 properties and 263 associates/vendors.

Members who recognize the importance of the GCAA’s purposes and objectives may elect to provide additional, sustaining support to the Association via the General Sponsorship Program. This program has been well received in each of the last six years. The GCAA has crafted appealing and appropriate sponsorship options in which a great variety of members can particiapate:

  • Members can choose to have greater visibility and prestige via the program;
  • Recognition is proportionate to the level of sponsorship;
  • Smaller firms can participate in a meaningful way; and
  • The program will continue to foster GCAA’s main objectives of industry-friendly legislation, quality education, and useful & timely information.

The sponsorship program is structured in three levels for 2007: Platinum ($2,200), Gold ($1,400), and Silver ($700). The benefits that sponsoring firms will receive are detailed below.

SILVER ($700):
Membership Directory Listing:
Sponsors’ Company Names are printed on each divider tab in the GCAA Annual Membership Directory & Buyers’ Guide
Apartment Times Listing: In each of ten annual issues of the GCAA’s Apartment Times magazine, a listing of sponsors (by level) is printed on page 4.
Name Badges: specially engraved firm/employee name badges to wear at GCAA events to identify yourself as a sponsor
Job Listing Service: Free use of GCAA's online classified advertising service (non-sponsor rate is $75 per 30-day listing)

GOLD ($1,400): All Silver Sponsor Benefits, Plus:
Easel Board Recognition: a prominent listing of all sponsors displayed at all GCAA monthly meetings and in the GCAA office
PowerPoint Presentation: an on-screen image presentation of your firm’s logo & key information that is presented at every GCAA dinner meeting
Apartment Times Article: a one-half page feature article about your business in the GCAA’s monthly magazine. (Traditional advertising space is not included.)
Seminar Sponsorship: an opportunity to address & provide promotional materials to attendees of one of the GCAA’s annual seminars. Sponsor’s name included in all seminar promos.

PLATINUM ($2,200):
All Silver & Gold Sponsor Benefits, Plus:
Apartment Times Article: feature article is increased to a full page (Traditional advertising space is not included.)
Dinner Meeting Sponsorship: exclusive GCAA meeting sponsorship, including extensive microphone time during the evening and the opportunity to distribute marketing/promotional materials to meeting attendees. All promotional communications for the month’s dinner meeting include sponsor’s name.
Web Site Display: a prominent display of your firm’s web address (with a direct link to your site) on this website: click here to view
$100 CAA Credit: Platinum Sponsors will receive a $100 credit certificate which can be applied to their invoices for any GCAA program or event. This credit may be used for NAA Designation Courses, GCAA Seminars, Dinner Meetings, or Association Social Events. Credit may not be used to pay for forms/publications purchases.

2. Event Sponsorships

The other sponsorship opportunities available at the GCAA are those that are associated with specific events. These allow members to tailor their support of the Association to specific programs that are appropriate to either the nature of their business or their networking preferences. Some of the events & programs for which the GCAA accepts sponsorships are:

Golf Tournaments (Spring and Fall)
New Construction Bus Tour (September)
New Member Orientation Breakfasts
Seminars
Maintenance Appreciation Events
Education Program Lunches
Social Events (Talent Show, Bowling Tournament, etc...)

3. Advertising Opportunities

Advertising in GCAA publications is an exclusive benefit of membership in the Association. Print advertising is the optimal way for GCAA-member vendors to target the local multifamily industry, as most of our publications are distributed to all members. Regular GCAA advertising opportunities include:

are available now. Options are many and varied and range from sponsoring a hole for $125 to being the sponsor of a
$10,000 Hole-in-One Contest for $500.
