Membership Committee Announces the
2008 “Do Business with a Member”
Challenge
July 1-31, 2008
$500,
$300, and $200 Visa Check cards will be awarded to winning member
properties in each of the following 2 categories:
1. Properties with under 200 units
2. Properties with 200 units & above
Here’s
how you play:
1. Be a GCAA-member apartment community.
2. Use GCAA Associate-member vendor companies at your property.
3. Talley up the GCAA-member vendors that your property employs
by using the Official Contest Form (available at www.greatercaa.org)
4. Fax the completed form to GCAA at 704-333-4221 by July 31st,
2008.
Here’s
how you win:
The six properties (three from each category noted above)
with the greatest numbers of vendors used will win the Visa Check
Cards!
The $500, $300, or $200 check cards will be awarded to the winning
properties’ staffs. (GCAA will verify the information submit on
the Official Contest Forms.)
Winners will be announced at GCAA’s August Dinner Meeting.

Fall Golf Tournament
at Waterford Golf Course
Wednesday, October 8th, 2008
This
Fall we're excited to be returning to the Waterford Golf Club,
Rock Hill, SC.
Teams
of four will have a shotgun start at 8:30 am.
What's
included: morning coffee/snacks, Barbeque pork & chicken lunch
buffet, Green Fees, Cart, Goodie Bag, Beer/Soda/Water, Team Awards,
Door Prizes, and Contests of Skill.
"Mulligans" and "Skirts" will be available for purchase at registration,
the proceeds of which will be donated to Crisis Assistance Ministry.
HOLE
IN ONE PRIZES to include: $10,000 Cash, Ben Hogan Irons, A
Dell Computer, and a Bose Wave Radio.

Charlotte: I-77 South into South Carolina. Take exit 79,
Dave Lyle Blvd (approx 9 miles from state line). Turn LEFT onto
Dave Lyle Blvd. Stay on Dave Lyle Blvd. until it ends (approx
1 1/2 miles). Turn LEFT at the dead end onto Waterford Park Drive.
Turn RIGHT onto Overview Drive - the second entrance on the right
(approximately 1/2 mile).

$10,000
HOLE-IN-ONE SPONSORSHIP - $500
1 per tournament;
Sponsoring firm will underwrite the cost of a $10,000 cash
hole-in-one contest. Special signage at the hole will acknowledge
the sponsor, and sponsoring company's name will be used in all
tournament promotions. Sponsor will need
to provide a witness to be present at the hole through the duration
of the tournament.
BEVERAGE
STATION SPONSORSHIPS - $300/each

you get a table, chairs, & signage to create a "station"
at which to serve liquid refreshment (beer, soda, water) to golfers.
Drinks supplied by GCAA; you just serve 'em with a smile!
LUNCH SPONSORSHIPS- $300/each

Sponsors will be acknowledged with signage placed on tables in
the clubhouse. At the luncheon/ awards ceremony, sponsors will
get brief microphone time with the golfers.
CART
SPONSORSHIPS- $225/each

Each pair of golfers will have an identification placard on the
visor of their golf cart. On the front of the placard your company's
logo or name will be printed for players to see throughout the
day.
HOLE
SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS
(include all benefits listed below but do NOT provide
the opportunity for sponsors to attend the tournament
and "set up shop" at the hole)

All the benefits of regular hole sponsorship, PLUS there will
be a hole-in-one contest played from the hole you sponsor. Prizes

Wave Radio.

PRIZE SPONSORSHIPS
Sponsors
will underwrite the cost of a few, high-quality prizes (ie: golf
clubs, gas grill, electronics, etc) to be raffled off at the post-tournament
luncheon. Sponsoring firm will be recognized as the prize is given,
and we'll be glad to attach your representative's business card
to the prize. GCAA will take care of the prize purchasing so you
don't have to deal with the shopping! Raffle Prize sponsors will
also be listed on the Tournament Welcome Board.
