Greater Charlotte Apartment Association

Members of the GCAA’s Public Relations Committee are hard at work with the Susan G. Komen Foundation preparing for the third annual Charlotte Apartments for the Cure!  The 2010 race will be on Saturday October 2nd and we are striving to win “largest Civic Team” for the third year in a row!

Did you know that one in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime? You can help these women and thousands of others in the fight against breast cancer. For the third consecutive year, the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association is eager to participate in the Komen Charlotte Race for the Cure with a great team of dedicated people. Please join the fight by registering as part of our team or by supporting our efforts with a pledge contribution. The money raised through the Race will fund vital education, screening and treatment programs for women in our own community and will also support the national search for a cure.
