GCAA Members are Invited and Encouraged to Attend!

The Apartment Association of North Carolina is excited about its 2010 AANC Legislative Days in mid-June and looks forward to excellent participation by GCAA members. AANC has important issues to address this year and is counting on Charlotte multifamily professionals to help deliver vital apartment industry messages to the members of the N.C. General Assembly.

Below is the calendar of events for the Raleigh-based gatherings; please save the dates and register to participate by phoning the GCAA office at 704-334-9511 x30 or click here to register on line. There is no charge for the meetings, meals*, or legislative visits, but you will need to secure your own lodging.

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

  • AANC Board of Directors Meeting from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Marriott Raleigh City Center (address below)
  • The Issues Briefing for Legislative Days Participants will be held at the same location from 4:30-6:00 pm. Special guests from the current events/political discussion TV program “NC SPIN”  will include host Tom Campbell as well as regular commentators Chris Fitzsimon (NC Policy Watch) and John Hood (of the John Locke Foundation).
  • The Legislative Dinner will be held in from 6:30 until 9:00 PM at the Marriott. *Dinner is complimentary for owner/operator participants and sponsors; $50 for non-sponsoring vendors

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

  • Complimentary Breakfast will be held at the Marriott Raleigh City Center; 7:30-8:45am
  • Visits at the Legislature from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon
  • Complimentary Lunch and Debriefing from 12:30-2:00pm at the Marriott.
