1) Location & Layout of the GCAA Trade Show:
The floorplan for the GCAA’s 2010 Trade Show is above. We’ll once again be in Hall C2 at the Charlotte Convention Center (501 S. College St., Charlotte NC 28202) which is conveniently accessible via the Convention Center’s loading dock. There are a total of 156 booths available.
2) Booth options and fees: (Same rates as last year - YAY!)
- Premium Booth (gold) $515 (SOLD OUT)
- Super Booth (green) $465 (SOLD OUT)
- Regular Booth (purple) $415 (SOLD OUT)
ALL booths are 10 x 10′ and include:
- admission for two representatives from your company
- 8′ backing drapes (black and purple)
- 3′ side drapes
- sign with your company name and booth number
- one 6′ draped table, two chairs, wastebasket
- one parking pass for a nearby lot (Wells Fargo Cultural Campus Parking Deck - Stonewall & S. Tryon Streets)
3) How to reserve your booth:
- Check the floor plan above to see which booths are still available. This is updated frequently.
- Click here for an exhibitor registration form.
- Complete and return the exhibitor registration form, indicating a first and second choice of booth location. Your booth will NOT BE RESERVED until we receive your signed and completed form.
- You will receive email confirmation of your booth reservation upon receipt of your form.
- Booth invoices and complete exhibitor packets will be mailed in January.
- Only current GCAA members in good standing may reserve trade show booths.
Information for REGISTERED EXHIBITORS:
Your complete exhibitor kits were mailed on January 28th to the address you specified on your booth registration form. These included your invoice for booth fees, a handy “What You Need to Do and When” guide, loading dock directions & hours of operation, Trade Show rules & regulations, and various forms for ordering additional services & decor such as electricity, carpet, internet service, A/V equipment, etc. PLEASE REVIEW THE INFORMATION IN YOUR EXHIBITOR KITS THOUROUGHLY!
Important deadlines:
- Both fees must be paid by March 1st
- You must register your booth personnel with GCAA by March 4th
- For the best rate - order electricity by March 4th
- For the best rates - order other ‘extras’ by March 10th (carpet, internet, furniture, A/V equipment, freight transport, etc.)
Charlotte Convention Center Loading Dock Hours and Information:
- For Exhibitor Move-In: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm on Thursday, March 25
- For Exhibitor Move-Out: 9:00 pm - midnight on Thursday, March 25
- Loading dock doors will be CLOSED from 3:30 pm - 9:00 pm
- Exhibitors may not park personal vehicles in the loading dock area
- Loading dock entrance is on Stonewall Street; click here for driving directions to the Convention Center
Parking during show hours:
Exhibitors will receive one parking pass per booth to use at the Wells Fargo Cultural Campus Parking Deck (on Stonewall St. between Chruch & S. Tryon Streets; click here for map) Passes may be picked up at the Trade Show registration area beginning at 3:30 pm. Pass will allow you to exit the WFCC parking deck at no charge.
