The GCAA’s Annual General Sponsorship Program
The Greater Charlotte Apartment Association is the largest and most successful multifamily housing organization in the Carolinas and one of the most respected in the country. Since 1977, the GCAA has done much for the local apartment industry, which now boasts a collective property value in excess of $4 billion. The GCAA currently represents 200 apartment owner/management firms, 450 apartment communities, and 276 associates (vendors).
Members who recognize the importance of the GCAA’s purposes and objectives may elect to provide additional, sustaining support to the Association via the General Sponsorship Program. This program has been well received in recent years. The GCAA has crafted appealing and appropriate sponsorship options in which a great variety of members can participate:
-
Members can choose to have greater visibility and presitge via the program;
-
Recognition is proportionate to the level of sponsorship;
-
Smaller firms can participate in a meaningful way; and
-
The program will continue to foster GCAA’s main objectives of industry-friendly legislation, quality education, and useful & timely information.
The sponsorship program is structured in three levels. For 2010 these were:
PLATINUM ($2200)
GOLD ($1400)
SILVER ($700)

Advertising Opportunities in the Apartment Times Magazine
Print advertising in the GCAA’s Apartment Times Magazine is an optimal method of targeting the multifamily industry. Over 1,100 copies of the Apartment Times are printed six times per year. Each issue is mailed to the entire GCAA membership base (developers, owner/operators, management companies, individual apartment communities, and vendor/suppliers) as well as to affiliated members of the Apartment Association of North Carolina, to other NAA-affiliated apartment associations, and to local/state government officials who represent the Charlotte region.
Advertising in the Apartment Times is affordable; the magazine is not published to make a profit, but rather to inform and educate our members while also providing them with unique marketing opportunities. A summary of current ad rates is below; you can also refer to these links for additional information:
