“Much of the success of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association is due in to our Associate Members who dedicate countless hours to providing the membership with a series of dynamic events each year, including the GCAA Trade Show, golf tournament, and charity events. Associate sponsorship of and participation in monthly dinner programs creates a series of meetings that bring immeasurable value to our owners and operators. Without its many dedicated Associate members, the GCAA would not be as prosperous as it is today. “Doing business with a member” is recognized by GCAA owners and operators as a key way to thrive in this market and to sustain the vitality of the industry.”
- Adam Ford, Crosland, LLC, 2009 GCAA President
“After being a part of the multifamily industry for nearly a decade, it is safe to say that my membership and participation in the GCAA was the most important decision I made when Valet Waste entered the Charlotte market. The GCAA provides a very strong vehicle that accomplishes two very critical tasks: providing environments for associate members to grow vibrant and healthy businesses and providing the opportunity to make long-lasting relationships. The key to success in the multifamily industry is to immediately get involved in the GCAA by serving on a committee and actively participating. The rewards of being involved pay off both financially and personally to any associate member.”
-Chris Hazlett, CAS, Valet Waste, 2009 Products & Services Council President

Membership gives you access to vital information about apartment decision-makers, enables you to contact and iteract with potential clients, and allows you to focus your maketing efforts in a cost-effective way. At the same time, membership in the GCAA means your company will have increased visibility to the industry through the association’s many programs and publications. GCAA membership is a powerful tool for prospecting and enhancing business. The GCAA enthusiastically and actively epmhasizes the importance of doing business with fellow members as a means of strengthening both the Association and the industry.
2) Overall Health of the Industry
The Association, through its legislative, educational, and informational programs, contributes substantially to the strength and vitality of the multifamily housing industry.
