PRESIDENT - TAMI FOSSUM, CAPS
BLUE RIDGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Tami Fossum is a Regional Asset Manager and has been in the property management industry since 1989. Tami holds CAPS, Housing Credit Certified Professional, and ARM designations as well as North Carolina and South Carolina Real Estate Licenses. She has been actively involved in the GCAA since 1993 and has been a board member since 2004. She has and continues to serve on many of the GCAA committees. In 2004, Tami chaired the GCAA Education Committee and in 2007 & 2008 chaired the Programs committee. The GCAA named her Manager of the Year in 2003, Volunteer of the Year in 2005, and Instructor of the Year in 2007. She received her highest honor in 2008, when named the NAA’s Paragon winner for Designate of the Year. She also is an NAAEI faculty member and a graduate of the NAA Lyceum leadership program. Tami is also actively involved with her neighborhood association and church.
VICE PRESIDENT - LINDA F. CAUDLE, CPM
WESTDALE REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT & MANAGEMENT
Linda, Vice President of Westdale Real Estate Investment & Management, is responsible for management, leadership and operations of properties in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. She is a native Charlottean and has over 28 years of experience in multifamily management. Linda holds her CPM designation and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management. She also has a NC Real Estate Brokers license and is Broker-in-Charge for Westdale. She served as a board member of the GCAA and has chaired and been involved in various committees since 1981.
TREASURER - LISA T. TAYLOR, CPM, CAM, CAPS

Lisa has over 25 years of successful property management experience. She is presently Managing Director for Greystar, whose team she joined in February of 2005. Her previous work experience includes 18 years at Summit Properties and several years at Trammell Crow Residential Services. As one of the most highly respected and tenured professionals in the Carolinas market, Lisa has contributed to the addition of 12,000 units in the Greystar repertoire of 16,000 units in the Carolinas and Georgia. She continually attracts and retains the most sought after and effective executive, regional and on-site teams. Lisa graduated from the American Business & Fashion Institute (The Art Institute of Charlotte) in 1982. She holds CPM, CAM, and CAPS Designations as well as a North Carolina Broker’s license. Lisa was on the Board of Directors for Historic South End 2001 – 2002, serves on the Residential Property Management Advisory Board at Virginia Tech, and is a previous GCAA Board member.
SECRETARY - CHRIS HAZLETT, CAS
VALET WASTE
Chris is the Regional Sales Executive for Valet Waste, covering the Carolinas and Virginia. In November 2009, he was recognized as being the first sales executive within Valet Waste to be named to their Diamond Club. Prior to joining Valet Waste, Chris was a Senior Account Executive with National Credit Systems, Inc. As a representative for NCS, he was named Salesman of the Year multiple times, won the P.R.I.D.E Award, and developed and implemented an education class that he taught around the country which directly impacted his clients’ bottom line. He has served on the membership committee and has been on the Products and Services Council for 7 years. He served the PSC as Secretary, VP and, most recently President. He received his BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies from Washington & Jefferson College in 2000.
IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT - ADAM FORD
CROSLAND, LLC
Adam serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Crosland’s Southeastern Investment Fund and directs Crosland’s efforts in acquiring and enhancing the value of land investments as part of the Southeastern Investment Fund. He is responsible for its operation including investment approval as a member of the investment committee, fund reporting, annual business planning, and budgeting. Adam recently transitioned from his role as Crosland’s Multifamily Development Manager. He began his tenure at Crosland as the Vice President of Operations in the Residential Division. Adam holds a B.S. in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He chaired the GCAA’s Government Affairs Committee in both 2007 and 2008, and was GCAA Board of Directors President in 2009.
